Welcome to the Raceway Ford Cases – Smog Fee Class Administration website.

     The purpose of this website is to provide information to potential Class Members in the Raceway Ford Cases – Smog Fee Class. The lawsuit claims that Raceway Ford violated consumer protection laws, including the California Automobile Sales Finance Act, by charging smog-related fees on contracts for the sale of diesel-powered vehicles. The Court has not decided whether the Class or Raceway Ford is right. The lawyers for the Class will have to prove their claims at a trial. The lawsuit is called Raceway Ford Cases, Case No. RICJCCP 4476 in the Riverside County Superior Court, State of California.

     The Court has scheduled a Trial Setting Conference for September 14, 2009.
